Black & white printing is ideal when your content is primarily text or includes other material (tables, charts, etc.) which is not reliant on different colors to be understood.

PERFECT BINDING

This binding method is popular for soft-cover books. It provides:

Minimum thickness - 5/16"
A clean, professional appearance
Flat, printable spine
Tough yet flexible glue bond
Thick card stock cover with clear coat for improved look and durability

Perfect binding is the preferred method for books, corporate reports and large brochures or catalogs.

SPIRAL BINDING

Spiral (or coil) binding punches or drills holes close to the left edge of the cover and pages and then twists a plastic or metal coil through the holes, resulting in a binding that allows the printed material to be folded completely in half or lay flat on a surface. It is ideal for:

Spiral binding is used for smaller “pocket-sized” books all the way to larger-format books. Spirals come in various sizes and colors, to both match the thickness of the book and complement the cover.
